Suzanne's School of Dance began in 1992 in the Bryan/College Station community. With over 300 students attending weekly classes, Suzanne's School of Dance is a growing community of dancers and instructors that strive for excellence in every way.
Many young dancers begin seeking dance as more than just an after school class, but as a part of what makes them who they are. Suzanne's School of Dance has a vision for these young dancers to have a place to train and grow physically and spiritually.
Suzanne's School of Dance is the home of "Company and Apprentice AbunDance, a Ministry in Motion" and PraYze – a Hip Hop Company. These companies are Christian performing groups within Suzanne's School of Dance. The performance groups are a ministry through uniquely created dances that are based on scriptures and life experiences. The studio offers a variety of genres such as: lyrical, contemporary, hip-hop, jazz, praise dance, tap, modern, leaps, turns and progressions, ballet, pointe and pilates. Classes available for ages 2 through adult.
Company AbunDance has had the privilege to be a part of Project Dance New York since 2002. This is a dance outreach in the heart of Times Square. Company auditions are held annually every spring. Call for details, 979-485-8277.
